POSTCARD FROM SINGAPORE: TRAVELING PLAYLIST

This is probably the gazilion times I'm going to ramble about being in the city for too long. It has been 2 months since my last travel to Rinjani. My next traveling opportunity is still far away, considering that I need to put my post graduate education first.

As of now, I am surviving the city life by listening to a lot of Stevie Wonder and Foo Fighters. I know, they are not a good mix, but these two pretty much filled my traveling playlist when I was in Singapore!

My traveling playlist is filled with old songs. If you know me well, you would know that I am not a big fan of the current music trend. I'm not a hater, but I prefer those like Lion Babe or Musiq Soulchild. Since I listen to every genre, the playlist that I will show you will give you an image of me as an unpredictable person. In my defense, I am very dynamic. The playlist goes like this:
  1. Musiq Soulchild - L' Is Gone and pretty much everything from the album 'Juslissen'
  2. Stevie Wonder - everything from the album 'Live At Last: A Wonder Summer's Night'
  3. John Mayer - everything from the album 'Where the Light is'
  4. Jason Mraz - Common Pleasure and everything from the album 'Live on Earth'
  5. Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench, All My Life, Best of You, Rope, Walk, Arlandria, Learn to Fly, The Pretender (I need theme for jogging playlist)
  6. Kanye West - everything from 'The Life of Pablo'
  7. Lion Babe - Jump Hi and Treat Me Like Fire
  8. Hillsong - mostly everything
A good playlist helps you achieve a better journey! What do you think about my playlist? Those 7 are only some of many other musicians in my traveling playlist. Each one carries a different emotion in each travel. For example, I listen to Lion Babe because it reminds me about India every time. Common Pleasure by Jason Mraz takes me back to high school and John Mayer takes me back to Toraja for a reason I'm not quite sure.

I always make sure that I have a solid playlist with me every time I travel. It boosts my mood and lifts my spirit to explore even more! Take my trip to Singapore for an example. I was enjoying every second I had in Singapore, taking photos for The Perks of Being 20! Check out some of them below!
